DBTAC: Rocky Mountain ADA Center (operated by Meeting the Challenge) provides training, materials and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to individuals and organizations in Colorado, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota. It is one of ten regional centers established by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), a division of the U.S. Department of Education. Ping Chong & Company

Ping Chong is a New York-based multi-award winning writer, theater director, choreographer and artist. Some of his accolades include two Obie Awards, six National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships, a Playwright’s USA Award and a Guggenheim Fellowship.

In 1992, Ping Chong wrote and directed the first in a series of performances which became known collectively as Undesirable Elements. Productions have been presented in more than 40 cities in the US as well as in Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, France and Italy. Chong’s common interest throughout the more than 30 productions in this series are “outsiders”: Individuals who have been born into one culture and then must live in another.

As he does with each installment of Undesirable Elements, Ping Chong chose the cast of Invisible Voices, worked with the cast to establish a script, and supervised rehearsals. He co-wrote the script with Sara Zatz, Associate Director of his Company. For more information, visit pingchong.org.

Windstar Studios, Inc.

Windstar Studios is one of the Rocky Mountain region’s premiere video production facilities. Windstar has partnered with Meeting the Challenge to produce a state-of-the-art DVD of the Invisible Voices stage show., including behind-the-scenes footage with the personalities who brought the original production to life.

For 35 years THEATREWORKS has presented the Pikes Peak Region with the best of live theatrical arts. Invisible Voices was originally staged in Colorado Springs on October 1, 2009 at the Dusty Loo Bon Vivant Theater, a THEATREWORKS venue.
